The EDS Regenerate treatment is an electronic, micro-skin needling procedure that stimulates your skin so that it will regenerate and repair itself naturally, resulting in smoother, brighter, younger and healthier looking skin.

It can be used as a key treatment in rejuvenating skin with the following conditions:

  • Acne scars
  • Photo-damaged or ageing skin
  • Facial and décolleté lines and wrinkles
  • Stretch marks

Maximise results and get your skin looking its best by combining micro-needling treatments with one of our results-driven skin care programmes.

How it works

Our trained medical aesthetic practitioner will carry out the EDS Regenerate procedure. This creates thousands of micro medical needle columns into your skin, each one penetrating into the dermis layer. These columns will stimulate the skin, encouraging it to regenerate and repair itself. They’ll then rapidly close so that your skin can quickly recover.

Thanks to the precision engineering and fine-tuned controls your aesthetic practitioner can accurately control the EDS treatment intensity throughout the procedure. This means they can adjust the needle depth and speed depending on the area that they’re treating and the particular condition of that area of skin.

While the EDS Regenerate procedure produces some discomfort, your practitioner will normally apply a topical anaesthetic and to the treatment area beforehand. While a high-quality hyaluronic acid solution will allow the needle tip to move smoothly over the surface of your skin.

Following the procedure your skin will start to naturally regenerate and repair itself, working below the surface in the dermis. This will take some time as new collagen is formed, new skin cells are generated and the dermis layer is rejuvenated. It can take up to six weeks before you see signs of this regeneration and repair, although the process will continue to work over the following months, leaving you with natural, long-lasting results.

We recommend that your EDS Regenerate treatment consists of three procedures approximately four to six weeks apart. However, some skin conditions may require more treatments to achieve the desired results.

Results

Immediately after the procedure, you will look as though you have moderate sunburn and your skin may feel warmer and tighter than usual. This normally starts to subside after one to two hours and will return to normal within 24 to 36 hours. Your aesthetic practitioner may suggest that you use Control Tactics, a post-procedure recovery gel, to help soothe and calm the skin. This should be used as directed until the redness subsides. Following the treatment, your aesthetic practitioner will also apply a Hyaluronic acid based product to hydrate and plump the skin.

We also strongly advise that you use broad-spectrum high-level photoprotection after the procedure which we can recommend. You should continue to apply this on a daily basis during the treatment course, even in the winter or on cloudy days. Use tepid water to cleanse the face until the redness has gone and dry gently. Always make sure your hands are clean when touching the treated area.
Following treatment, it is essential that you continue to care for your skin on an ongoing daily basis with an effective anti-ageing regime. This should be designed to provide photo and anti-oxidant protection and further enhance the rejuvenation process.
